I acquired it a few years ago. It does play 16rpms, but I don't have any such records.

I uploaded the second video, a thing called "Get up offa the floor Hannah" by Les Welch and His Naked City Seven. I recorded it poorly, the lyrics are difficult to make out. To be honest, the only reason I made the video is because I'm bored out of my mind, I don't feel like watching TV nor playing video games, nor do I feel like reading. I don't feel like ripping more commercials to upload. The Video:

It's a bit "country", but not real country. Les Welch was unusual in that he did a lot of genres (pretty much anything that was popular in the early 1950s), and the resulting recording is very "pop".

That's cool! And I agree with beep* that the videos look fine. I was just curious about the setup, in case I manage to get a turntable myself for my dad's old records.

I had a blind friend in high school who had many "talking books" which were on 16prm discs.

Thanks for Les Welch! Fun stuff!

I understand your "I don't feel like" mood. I'm in a holding pattern, waiting to find out if my husband gets his promotion or not. If he does, we get to move about 200 miles away. If not, well then, we don't. So, when I get into that, "I don't feel like..." mood, I usually just pull up some audio/video that you've uploaded, because no matter what my mood is, I can watch what you've contributed all day long!
